After numerous great submissions, we proudly selected Kenyatta Wade as All-American Pest Control’s 2022 Hometown Hero Award winner!
Kenyatta was nominated for her passion for caregiving and local support by bolstering the physical and mental health of members of her community. She has 12 years of experience as a professional caregiver and currently serves as the director of nursing at Woodcrest of Blakeford Senior Life, a Nashville 501-c nonprofit retirement community providing long-term care, nursing facilities, independent living, and assisted living.
The Hometown Hero Award was created to identify and honor deserving individuals and outstanding citizens whose leadership, community organization involvement, heroic action, humanitarian efforts, service, or volunteerism have made a significant positive impact. To recognize those who make Middle Tennessee a better place--and that’s exactly what Kenyatta does.

Kenyatta was honored with the award at Blakeford Senior Life alongside her colleagues and residents. It was a wonderful celebration filled with bubbles, popsicles to beat the heat and so much more! To celebrate Kenyatta for her outstanding service she is awarded with 10 years of complimentary pest control, including ant, spider, tick, and termite protection, mosquito reduction, and yard treatment services.
“Caregiving is my passion, and I love my Blakeford team and residents,” Wade said. “To be recognized for my service to something so dear to my heart is an honor.
