How Does All-American Reduce Mosquitoes

There are few things as frustrating as sharing your backyard with mosquitoes. If you live near a lake, wetland, or some other breeding ground for mosquitoes, it may even be a nightmare. These tiny, blood-eating pests are relentless. When there are only two or three mosquitoes, it is bad; but a swarm of them can make your backyard unusable.

As we enter mosquito season, it is only going to get worse. Soon, you may find that the only way you can enjoy being in your yard is if you put up a screened tent. But who wants to do that? It obscures your view and restricts you to only a small portion of your yard. Not to mention, you have to run through the mosquitoes to get to your tent. You could put mosquito repellent on. But it is no fun putting bug spray on every time you want to go out, and even less fun to have to put it on your kids.

On top of all this, there is the danger of Zika, West Nile, Dengue fever, yellow fever, malaria, and other mosquito-borne viruses. Of course, not every mosquito that bites you is a vector for these viruses, and not all mosquitoes that are considered a vector have one of these viruses in their system, but they could. We live in a world where constant worldwide travel has made us closer than ever before. All that is required for an outbreak to crop up here in Tennessee is for one infected person to fly here from anywhere in the world, and for the right mosquito to introduce that virus into our local population. While we don't need to live in fear of this happening, it is important to take appropriate precautions.

At All-American, we offer a comprehensive mosquito misting service that provides a knockdown for adult mosquitoes. Our pest specialists spray tree canopies that are in close proximity of your home, bushes, shrubs, and underneath deck areas--all of the places mosquitoes like to hide during the daytime.

We think this is the best way to protect properties from mosquitoes, and our customers agree. We're always hearing from folks that they are able to go out in their backyard without having to put bug spray on all the time. We love hearing that.

Take your backyard back. Let All-American reduce the mosquitoes in your yard and make it a much nicer place to be this spring, summer, and fall. And, give your family the vital protection they need to reduce the risk of mosquito-borne diseases. It just makes sense.
