It’s time to think about stink bugs. Fall is high time to keep these bugs out of your home. Once inside of these wall cavities, they settle in for a long winters nap.

In the spring, when the temperatures start to rise again, these quiet bugs get restless and come crawling out of their winter napping spot. They head for light and heat sources, which is why they congregate on windows and light fixtures. Unfortunately, this is often the first time that the occupants of the building realize that they have been sharing it with all these stink bugs. The good news is that these invaders are not considered dangerous because they don’t bite or sting. They do, however, emit a horrid smell when crushed, which makes eliminating them a precarious action.

Keeping these invaders out is really something that has to be done many months before the warm spring temperatures occur.
